FISH TIN AND COPPER – West Cornwall

Tour West Cornwall, stopping to photograph or visit St Michael’s Mount, once monastery, residence of C18th mineral lords and now home of Lord St Levan.

Travel towards Land’s End and the ‘Tin Coast’ from where the spectacular scenic route will take you through the UNESCO Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and onwards to St Ives.

Spend time in the picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town of St Ives, with its maze of narrow cobbled streets, independent shops, eateries, art galleries and fisherman’s cottages.

Choose to visit the Tate Gallery overlooking Porthmeor Beach, or the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden where this remarkable lady’s sculptures are set amidst exotic sub-tropical plants.

As an alternative simply soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant, colourful harbour side town famed for the quality of its light and warmth of the sun!
